About Me

For as long as I can remember, I've loved stories and writing. I relished writing assignments, loved my english courses, and signed up for a course at our local community college for creative writing in my senior year. When I moved 1,000 miles away to attend Roanoke College, I declared my major as soon as I could and never wavered. I was fortune enough to find excellent mentors and ways to participate in writing - I read for our on campus literary magazine, served as co-editor in chief for a year, worked on independent poetry projects, and participated in readings of my work. When I graduated in 2021 with honors and a degree in creative writing and English, I also left with a pretty good stash of poems I had written in those four years. Outside of school, I continued to work on writing - not only poetry, but fiction as well.

My work has been published in a variety of places, including Unstamatic Magazine, orangepeel magazine, and Ghost Girls Zine.

Currently, I'm based in Philadelphia as a Midwest-transplant in an apartment full of books and houseplants. I share all my work with my partner and our cat Ravioli before sending it out into the world. I spend way too much time on the internet, playing cozy games and Zelda, going to concerts, and listening to Taylor Swift.
